The house where the film is set is called Squerryes Court in Kent. Owned by the Warde family. Really lovely people. I lived at Squerryes for a year and it was so good seeing the place again.
Nice adaptation as far as Emma's adaptations go... My least favourite of the novels but I believe they got the tone right. Austen would have approved, I think!
@Leidilandelta Yeah, he looks beautiful in that scene. It's the light I think... not that he's not a handsome guy, he defentely is. But, you know, the lights and the costume... ;-)
Haha, love the Austen referencing! I too love this series, and think it the 'sweetest and best of all Austen adaptations, faultless in spite of all its faults'. ;)
