I am not Pontian myself but it is the spirit of Pontos and its immense beauty that is in a category of its own! Pontic culture is not just a nationality as I see it, it is a spirituality. It represents heavenly beauty on earth. It might be the place of the Garden of Eden perhaps?

@oddyse2 Turks came from middle Asia (nowdays Turkmenistan) and they have nothing with Balkan culture. They simply overtook byzantine legacy (music, schools, science..) and carried on.
