It's not a zit, or an infection. It is called a sebaceous cyst. The contents smells like the worst rotten cheese/sour milk/old feet you have ever smelled, but it is not necessarily infected. The problem with incising them is after you drain them, you have to pull out the capsule. A tough sinewy bubble that the cyst was encased in. If you don't take out the capsule the cyst will just keep returning.
