http://www.usmusclemods.com We went for a ride with "wild" bill devine of STS Turbo in his twin turbo corvette. This car is putting down about 580 hp at the rear wheels on a stock motor other than the twin turbo set up and the turbos are mounted in place of the mufflers. The red corvette is a 2007 Z06 and is putting down 650 hp at the tires. http://www.usmusclemods.com/corvette-performance http://www.usmusclemods.com/corvette-turbos

  • im sorry, im a noobie at turbos, but how come the turbos are mounted on the exhaust and not under the hood?

  • @Alex050796 The company that makes this kit mounts them back there for several reasons. We have some videos on our channel where one of our guys interviews the owner of the company. You can find a lot of details there.

  • oh dude that's badass i haven't seen a car with that kind of turbo setup in awhile. They're supposed to be alot better than engine bay mounted turbos. Would you call that assumption correct?

  • @GRelated420 a lot of people have a lot of opinions. The nice thing with these is you don't have to try and find more space under the hood, and you don't have to increase the temperatures under the hood. They run really nice.

  • I'm not usually a fan of boosted engines but for the Corvette, I make an exception.

  • @MrRedeyedJedi The corvettes corner pretty well stock, but I don't think any additional suspension mods have been done to this car.

  • @usmusclemods Just out of curiosity, ive seen a setup here in Australia on a V6 Commodore but it made me think.... wouldn't this make it really easy to steal the turbo's? Is there any anti theft in place?

  • @Alex050796 weight distribution maybe put the weight in the back instead of front

  • @Alex050796 mabie its just a different set up

  • @triplexxxsatyr How can anyone not like boost?

  • suppose i have a stock corvette of 85'-05' what is this kit with installation and tuning gonna set me back... just wanna know cause the wife does not need to know lol

  • STS is ok if u have limited space, but they also add more weight thanx to all the tubing, but if u really wanna see somthing crazy fast, check HP Performance turbos, capable of making up to 1700WHP with all stock accessories

  • Nice vette. Im not a fan of the STS turbos except for that they are good if you have little space in the engine bay. If im correct my truck would be pushing about 400hp stock with the sts base kit on a stock 350 motor

  • @MrRedeyedJedi corvette has one of the fastest times around Nurburgring Nordschleife... a track where bad cornering cars have no chance :D
