Klean Industries is focused on the conversion of waste polymers and scrap plastics as a fuel and energy resource. Klean economically and commercially converts plastic into high grade diesel fuel or a fuel gas used as a precursor petroleum feedstock for the manufacture of new plastic through a specialized ethylene cracker that is fed to a polyethylene production plant.
The targeted feed stocks are PP, PE, PS, HDPE, LDPE. The plant uses a technology involving low temperature pyrolysis and distillation to liquefy the plastics, ordinarily destined for landfill, into ultra-low sulphur hydrocarbon fuels which are less harmful to the environment than standard petroleum based diesel.
This process diverts plastic waste from landfills and produces a highly usable commodity that is cleaner burning in its characteristics and is more environmentally friendly than conventional distillate and refinery based diesel fuels.
This video features Klean's small scale plant options with range in size from 3 to 10 tonnes per day. For our large scale plants please view our additional videos. These proven commercial plastic liquefaction technologies have been in continuous operations for over 15 years and over a dozen facilities have been built using these technologies.
