California's Supreme Court has upheld a ban on same-sex marriage that was passed by the state's voters last November. Mike O'Sullivan reports from Los Angeles, the court also upheld the validity of 18,000 gay and lesbian marriages performed before the ban, called Proposition 8, was enacted.
