Sisko has returned from the prophets. A great deal has transpired in the post series novels. Has it been worthy of the big screen? I do not feel so, even after the latest dismal effort. DS 9 is a bit too complicated for the big screen. Think "Insurrection". A great Trek story, a failure on the big screen.
I still think that there is scope for a ds9 film, there has been enough time gone by for the actors to age naturally and for sisko to return from the prophets.
I've watched this video so many times and it never fails to make me emotional. Trek's had it's good and bad moments but this video makes you want to cntact every person involved in and show and say thank you for provding some of the best memories of my life.
This is beautifully done as anything I've seen on this site. The end part is especially moving, and the music is perfect. The inclusion of the original music at the end was also excellent. This would be a welcome "extra" on just about any Star Trek DVD or set. Thanks for posting!
My point is that even though he was deluded into thinking that one day the Bajorians would eventually thank him he didn't believe in completely illogical things like Sisko being responsible for Ziyal's death.
Do you remember the very first time Dukat and Sisko meet? From that moment on, Dukat blamed Sisko for EVERYTHING. Now move ahead to Ziyal's death. As he walked out of the holding cell, with Sisko's baseball in hand and said, "I forgive you too". Did he? Not at all. Did he kill Dumar? No. Think of it this way: Sisko was to Dukat as Kirk was to Khan.
