i remember when this came out in the arcade. the game literally had 30 people surrounding it watching. and strangely the same few people kept on playing, it was as if people were intimidated by the graphics and gameplay as it was like nothing we had seen up to that point.

From what I understood, the Laser Disc was created for this game.
So in a way, while this wasn't the future of video games (spawed two sequals, SPACE ACE and LUPID THE 3rd), it helped bring about the current style of home gaming (and also DVDs). So we have that to thank it for

I remember when this game first came out everyone thought it was the future. It was the coolest game coming from Asteroids, Galaga, and Pac Man. haha. It still looks good, but now look at the games... Dam!
