Bill Maher made this great point once. I don't want someone "I'd have a bear with" to be president . I would want an elitist in there, a smart guy who knows what he's doing, someone who is "better" than the rest of us because that job demands it. Obama's no elitist though, I think he desperately wants to be, basically mimicking many of Bush's policies to some degree and it's quite sickening.

@chillercm haha no; there are many alternatives to capitalism, not just communism. And even what we have now in America isnt true laissez-faire capitalism, though that doesnt make a difference when corporations take their buisness elsewhere. and it doesnt take a genuis to figure out that people with ridiculouse amounts of money elevate themselves above others; i dont see a need to explain that further. im at university studying law now so no im not part of the lower class, tho i dnt care 4 money

Elitism - the attitude that society should be governed by an elite group of individuals. That is how Obama and most any other high ranking member of any government in the entire world thinks. Obama is an elitist and all of his cronies are as well. The young turks are full of shit.

@Dillosaur elitist basically means you think your better then every1 else; they beleive in different levels of humanity and focus on class-division to justify their exploitation of 'lower classes' In many ways they are similar to Nazi's under the third reich.
