What's usually a little stroll from the house to the barn turns into an epic journey in three feet of snow.

  • Really cute - I live in Quebec and we get lots of snow and my dog (lab/husky), after a couple of times floundering thru the stuff, learned as a pup to tunnel through powder - much easier for him and he'd poke his nose out once in a while for a good breath - lots of fun

  • I'd never seen dogs tunnel through the snow before this. I was thinking about this vid over the weekend, as I strolled down the now dirt path to the barn. We'll see what this winter brings!

  • LOVED this. Those three did great breaking trail. Good thing it wasn't heavy wet snow otherwise the going would have been near impossible. Thanks for sharing, it was a hoot.

  • Thanks. you are so nice! Heelers have this philosophy, I think, of never never never give up!

  • Good stuff. Did the pups tails freeze off?

    jg

  • Hi Wazgear, hah! no, unfortunately the man I got them from bobbed their tails. Something I would not do. But we love em anyway. ;-)

  • Is this music from the Romeo & Juliet ballet? I love it!

  • get that kid some snowshoes!

  • Это Самые лучшие собаки!

  • I'd say the red one is the smarter of the two dogs - he/she let's the kid and the blue heeler do all the work throughout the entire ordeal. lol

  • Great vid! I loved it. By the way my Nic is made up of the names of two Heelers I used to own.

  • brilliant, absolutely loved it. Just got in touch with a breeder and have a pup on order for maybe october, my first acd, wanted one for years and so now am crossing off the days on the wall by a mounting pile of pre puppy stuff, hows that for pre planning! Your two are fab, such great dogs! Love the music too havent heard that for years.

  • your ACD probably had the same cancer mine had-it's first symptom was anemia. I am looking for another... but with school, life, and work, I simply don't have the proper time for training/socialization like I did with Y Z. I have a vid of him on the beach a month or so before he passed away.

  • Go get another one ! ! My first ACD died 4 years ago of "anemia." I tried living without one (an ACD) and simply could NOT ! So.......I found a reputable breeder.....and bought another. And am GLAD I did !

  • Bravo. Two thumbs up!

  • this is wonderful! i especially love the "peter and the Wolf" music! i just lost my ACD to cancer August 10. still having a hard time, and watching ACD videos helps!
