Ctrl Alt Delete is your friend. Try going to Processes and ending any which look like Anti virus xp. Then go download Avast.

i almost got this virus. one day when my sister borrowed my windows 7 laptop, she found a cute vocaloid wallpaper on google, but it redirect her to Antivirus XP 2008, Luckily i was there, and i cancel the scan

people are so crazy...when I worked in a repair shop the average computer comes in full of virus and stuff. It's 3 years old and the antivirus that came with it has expired and so no scans have been done. And you kids love to download all that music etc. he has to go into safe mode and run some spyware. Restore isn't going to work either..ha ha...take it to Best Buy and they will charge you $199.00 to fix it.
