almost all of the problems with audacity are because you haven't stopped what you were playing, so you have to press the stop button before you try to edit it. I hope this helped!

when i try to import audio to edit on here, the original is 55mins long but when i load it onto audacity it is only .96 seconds long. do u have any idea wat is going on???

I am having trouble recording with Audacity using Windows & on a 64-bit computer. It records fine, but I can only monitor the first track. When I try to add harmony, it records, but I can't hear the first track at all. Any ideas?
