Microsoft codename Halos was 3D photo browser prototype. It was demonstrated at PDC 2005 conference running on a Vista pre-beta 2 build (propably 5219 or 5231). 'Halos' was never released to public. When you have source code of it you can compile with your custom images. However for this video i have compiled it with default ones. I find this application cool but useless because you can not change images after compiling (well, maybe you can use resource hacker but i havent tryed).

yeah, well he didn't say halos was slow... just slow... anyway... it would be more impressive(or even durable to watch) if the framerate was alittle smoother. At least 25 frames+

Well... when i was doing this video it was just after downloading a new program for making vids and i just haven't seen all functions.
See my next video: Folder Treemap 3D. It is 25 fps ;)

What do you mean saying 'slow'?
Halos runs slow now because of video capture program was set to AFAIK 10 frames per second...
