@owainmeurig LOL I was I were rich. Most of these people weren't rich either, otherwise they might have had pictures of their loved ones in life, and therefore would not have to acquire these pictures only after a family member's death. I also cannot assume that all of these people were American as it was a practice of the British as well.

@owainmeurig Yes, I meant that I was glad that people didn't have to worry anymore about having to take pictures of the dead in order to have something to remember their loved ones. When you say "your own kind", did that mean that you were assuming I was a Victorian woman, as in "of, relating to, or belonging to the period of the reign of Queen Victoria"? Just wondering.... :-)

@owainmeurig What's strange is you're focusing on the sicknesses throughout the world, whereas I am addressing post mortem photography. I believe we're on different pages here. :-)
