G20 PROTESTER'S CLOSE UP ON RBS BANK

ITV NEWS REPORTS on G20 Protests 01.04.2009
Anti-capitalist demonstrators have started fires and smashed windows in the City of London.
Police said at least 32 people who gathered in London's financial district for a protest on the eve of the G20 summit were arrested after violent clashes.

Fires broke out on the streets and an effigy of a City banker was set ablaze after riot police hemmed in a group of demonstrators near the Bank of England.

Senior officers have vowed to prosecute a small group of protesters, some wearing bandanas and hoodies, who smashed windows at a Royal Bank of Scotland office.

Smoke bombs were hurled into the building and some protesters entered, with Scotland Yard officers following around 15 minutes later "in support of building security".

Two people were held for aggravated burglary over the raid on the RBS building in Threadneedle Street and two for public order offences.

I find this interesting the Protesters intention was peaceful, however it seems that the POLICE do not want Peaceful.

So the Police Create a Situation and Provoke them by blocking the Only Way Out .

It will be Spun on the Main Stream Media in the days ahead like this .

@italianman004 Americans protest more times a year than the UK does in a decade. People die in protests here and even fly to the UK to protest with you. All that happens there is some shield bashing and baton strikes. Try being shot with a 12 gauge shotgun filled with non-lethal ammunition that ironically kills people every year. You want on the soap box then fine, but don't talk shit, because we've fought for our rights a SHIT-TON more than the UK has, that's why you're on CCTV and I'm not.

@italianman004 I agree totally... look at what happened in toronto ffs, they looked like they were warding off terrorists or invading some damn country in the gear they had... and there was nothing going on. The peaceful protesters were trapped like mice, and then manhandled and thrown into the ground by up to like 5 officers at a time. its no wonder people just lose it and it turns into a large scale riot. the police provoke it. right now theyre looking into the fact that the cops went to far
