Actually, it was taken to the ocean. Our school's Surf Club took this surfboard, completely held together via biodegradable plastic wrap and another held by gorilla glue to beach, for i think a surf competition.
Suprisingly, it held together in the surf and was still in one piece. Only problem for the plastic wrap board was the salt water leaked inside the board so it smelled like the ocean for a couple of days. xD
