This 40ft yacht suffered machinery failure and ran onto the rocks at Start Point, South Devon with 6 persons aboard. The RNLI Tamar Class all-weather lifeboat from Salcombe was launched to assist and the 'Y class' inflatable was used to take off 5 of the crew before assisting with pulling the yacht to safety. The lifeboat towed the yacht into Salcombe harbour where it was craned out and checked for damage. This footage was taken using the fixed camera aboard the all-weather lifeboat.
