Bristol, Connecticut Car vs. Pole Accident

A severe car vs. pole accident occurred on Hart St. on January 30, 2009. Engine 2 was first on scene with Tower 1 & Support 1 not far behind to extricate the victim. The victim was transported by Bristol EMS to Bristol Hospital. CL&P was called in to replace the snapped pole.

@cutiger3115 Our tower company carries all of the extrication tools. A few of the engine companies have older extrication tools for backup situations, but again, the primary high-tech tools are based on the tower.
