Though I have not read the 4 hour work week I've browsed it and got the jist of it.
If you can create a strong automated business you can have a four hour work week if you can be tough enough to also make it hassle free in nature.
If you want to be the biggest and best in the industry, hassle free might be a challenge unless you also go "hands-off" and create a business that you can sell or have very little operative responsibility for.
