I foud this level particularly tricky, at least until I found a way to be consistent with my jump. Here it is, hope that helps to sort it out.
Remember to let go of the run button on the last floor. ^__^

  • Its not right, on mine the blocks start to close when the others are being opened at the end of the 2nd floor, and there IS NOT enough time to make the very last jump, just before Meat Boy. Help!!

  • @RosieJonesRules

Try to enable the "wait for vsync" in the options of your graphic card and in the game, or, if it's already enabled, turn it off.

  • Thanks, I didn't think to try releasing the run button at the top level. Great tip!

I'm glad you found the tip helpful. ^___^

  • @yaptinv abit late but started playing SMB not to long ago, and awesome tip to release run button at top, always hated the map but finally made it.

  • @CuteArceus I had the same problem. Try to play this level by windowing the game, not in full screen. It's a strange glitch but it worked for me and for others with the same problem as well.

  • @CuteArceus

It depends on your graphic card. Take a look at the control panel, it's usually in the systray.

Try to force the "wait for vsync" from there, or if it's already forced, try to turn it off.

    Good luck.

  • @CuteArceus

Sorry, I made a mistake in my previous answer. The correct one is (from a previous comment) :

"make sure v-synch is on (force it) and set the refresh rate to 60Hz on your monitor" (by teooo).

  • @teooo You might need to run it in windowed mode too

  • If it's too fast you need to make sure v-synch is on (force it) and set the refresh rate to 60Hz on your monitor. That will fix it.
