The August 1st 2008 Total Solar Eclipse as seen from Verk Thula about 20km South-West of Novosibirsk, Russia. The raw video was shot in full HD (1080P) using a Canon HF-100 and rendered in HD (720P) for presentation on the web.

The light level is osciliating because I'm adjusting the shutterspeed of videocamera in order to capture different parts of the corona. Short shutterspeed for the inner corona and longer shutterspeed for the outer (fainter) parts of the corona.
