I haven't been to Iran, but the dead sea which is really called Salt Sea is one of a kind, or at least it was. (now its half the size it was about 10 years ago). The water is theraputic and the Judean mountains reflect on the sea at sunset. I'm subjective since I'm Israeli, but I've traveled to many countries and this region is definiatly my favorate. I don't think you can comprehend this without visiting the region.

theres a salt lake in iran which is twice the size of this one
and just as salty
i dont think this is enough to be a wonder of the world
