Today I talk about a technique I have put into practice when I get into those addictive thought patterns about the foods that can potentially send me veering off of my raw food course.

I'm also interested to know if anyone else is experiencing holiday cravings, feeling addictive habits coming back based on traditions or kiosks filled with candy canes and chocolate Santas. How are you quieting your mind around these habits, and what new habits are you replacing them with?

The calls I've been making to FAA have been helping me so much, and I was wondering if RawFu members would be interested in having daily calls available to get you through your rough spots and to highlight your daily accomplishments? I'd be happy to facilitate a call using our new conference call number.

And who is ready for BOOK CLUB? I know I am! Let's start reading!

  • I'm all for the call possibility. Anything that helps people stay on track and get further within themselves can only be good news.

How's my day going: Not well at all. Totally off-course today, as I was yesterday. What's ridiculous is that all the bad eating is instinctual and reactionary.

P.S.: I was that girl the other night that was thankful and grateful for technology and the efficiency therein.

    Kuddos, Bunny!

  • I loved your sharing on the Gratitude Call. I'm also VERY GRATEFUL for the Interweb Tubes! :)

  • thank you! I am not raw or on the path to being raw but I found this video when I was looking for help with my addictive habits. I've learned about cognitive restructuring/though replacement and for some reason I had forgotten about those approaches. Thanks for the reminder! It does take a lot of effort and I think that when people are busy or under a lot of stress they don't have the time to be mindful or take the time to restructure thoughts

  • Bunny,

I have done 2 long water fasting before.

The 1st one is 15 days and the 2nd one

is 20 days. I also practise meditation therefore making it easier. I had all the cravings u had before fasting and I hv

already successfully kicked out all these cravings now. I only crave healthy food

right now fruits and vegetables, but no longer crave unhealthy food like

bread, pasta, cakes candies. I guess it's the hormones that has changed and my body reset it's metabolism after long fasting.

  • It is such a journey indeed! But we can do it together! It'll not be easy all the time, but it is totally possible!

Thank you for sharing! I guess my answer to your question of what I'm powerless with is chocolate.

    Hugs and Love!

  • Also I wanted to mention! Wow did you do a weight release cause you look super duper healthy and fantastic!!

  • The plural of crisis is crises. Thanks for another great video.
