I wonder what she means when Rachel say at the end this is some thing that need to be fix materially, I don't need G5 or 3 vacation homes Make the rich put some of there money into macro projects or some shit moon bases, war on poverty, what ever as long as it does some good for some one or for all of us.

the increasing income inequality doesn't bother most americans. just look at the 2010 election. i'm writing this in late 2011. the gop could win big next year too.

This chart is misleading. It doesn't account for inflation. When you adjust this for today's dollars, the first two columns have LOST income, the third and fourth have stayed flat, the fifth has made appreciable gains, and the last column has skyrocketed. In fact, if you adjust for inflation the fact that the richest 1% have managed to extract and hoard staggering wealth from the economy thanks to REPUBLICAN POLICY becomes even more blatant. Rachel missed an opportunity here.
So this shows that the "cut the taxes" crowd i.e Grover Norquest et al.......have been very successful. So this begs the question...Now that they have the money how come the "Job Creators" are not creating jobs? Of course I am assuming that when they say "Job Creators" they are refering to people with money who need to get more money and I am guessing that means the top 1% that has had an increase of almost 300%. Hey Eric Can'twhore where are the jobs.
