Three types of strumming I use when playing acoustic steel string fingerstyle guitar without any picks

When using the thumb edge (pad) it's a very gentle stroke. The result is a softer (volume-wise) strum, and less well defined.

  • Very nice...THANKS!

  • That's really good, love your style

  • i doubt u can do it standing. alot of ppl wana learn it in the stand stance.

  • Using the back of the fingernails makes for really easy strumming triplets- down with the fingernails, down the the pad of the thumb, up with the thumbnail.

    Very flamenco.

  • right hand technique
