I wanna go back so bad! Now that im 56 years old, i realize those lazy days watching cartoons on the floor were the best days of my life, just hearing the music brings me back, THE GOLDEN AGE FOR KIDS late 1950's-late 1960's.But i guess in 20 years sponge bob cartoons will pull the nostalga strings on a new generation, but its my time now!

I agree, I miss the old cartoons and actually everything in the olden days. Less complicated days, closer neighborhoods, neighbors, less people and much more love to share! People cared more in times past, I miss that. It's not easy being a caring person living in this time frame.

Actually, 'Gernot', it was "MIGHTY MOUSE AND THE MIGHTY HEROES" (1966-'67) on CBS' Saturday morning schedule [9-9:30am(et)], replacing "THE HECKLE & JECKLE CARTOON SHOW" after the 1965-'66 season.. There'd be a two-part "Mighty Heroes" story, with a "Mighty Mouse" cartoon- and probably another "Terrytoon", I forgot- inbetween those segments.

The "theme" used in the title was borrowed from the climactic chase in 1947's "The Super Salesman"...
