Kanako Wada - Sunday Brunch

Japanese funk track by Kanako Wada: "Sunday Brunch", from her 1987 album "Kana". Not a very well known artist but she participated in the soundtracks of the much more well known anime "Kimagure Orange Road".

Discovered and found on the awesome blog "http://japanmitch93-salento12.blogspot.com" devoted to Japanese funk. I have found several gems and discovered many artists I had never heard of before on it, and the guy actually usually posts the songs in their entirety!! I don't know if I would put it in that genre, although this song is very pop it's also quite funky. Maybe you're right I don't know, but a lot of Japanese funk songs could be defined as sophisti pop as well then.

i love this song as well, but i think....this video is a little faster than the original song. the running time of which is 3:55 ^^

It is indeed. Unfortunately, for some weird reasons, windows movie maker won't make a working video with the 3:55 version I got from her album "Golden Best" (it will erase the sound). Therefore I took another version I found on the blog I put in the description.

The only difference is the tempo which is a bit faster in this one, and in my opinion it actually makes it better.
