Yes it is given marty is an exotic player and uses more outside notes. Saying that paul needs a key and marty just shreds by ear..do you think marty didn't know what key they were in?Marty already knows what key they are in so he can improvise over it, and Paul knows it as well. @sgtcaco you missed my point. There are fast players(marty) and their are players who can play so fast it's unreal(paul). I have speed metal symphony and dragon's kiss so I know what Marty is capable of technically, but I also know that Marty is known more for his note choice and string bends than his speed. Btw Paul's playing is lot better now than what he did in Racer X and Mr. Big. He's a lot tastier. FYI Marty is my favorite lead player so you don't have to prove anything to me.lol

@codebabe umm sorry dude but marty is very fast he just does not incorprate that speed in his playing any. listeb to martys lead parts in X-ray eyes by cacophony plus I dont think marty would ever really want to use gilbert licks, dont get me wrong paul is a freak , I used to lord him till I watched him live. I know Im being a little silly but paul these days just sounds terrible to my ears an marty does every thing I want to hear. peace
