The marks you see are Shadowmarks. Described in the book "Shadowmarks" (conveniently enough) by Delvin Mallory, a character for the thieves guild. The marks you see are placed by other thieves (e.g developers) to hint players where to find different things that are helpful to Professional thieves. The book and the different symbols can be found in The Ragged Flagon - Cistern, at a table with food on.

I hated betraying brand-shei dark elves are usually so nice anyways but brand-shei was the nicest of them all, i helped him and then betrayed him

I will start with the Thieves Guild and see how things go from there!

@Willam2 Ah yeah, I guess there might be another way to do those things but I really would like a try at joining the thieves guild, it seems like it could be a lot of fun! :D

Also, there's probably a lot of great items to get from it!

I am in and out of that bed before anyone gets a chance to get in the door! :P

@Typanoid Hah! Well yeah, I kinda want to get into the Thieves Guild and I guess I need to learn to do stuff like that once in a while. I also don't really care as much about those people as I do about the cute little foxes, as William said! :P
