yeah some people have humble personalities though which is also good. it sounds to me the social order in school really makes a dent in peoples sense of who they are. it rewards a-holes and can cripple anybody whos off-center. i left USA at 13 when high school just started to get threatening - 8th grade for me. Australia has a much different culture , it was hard to get used to but it was a blessing to be free of the word "popularity". In oz you sound like a dick if you even use the word.
Man this video really touched me, give me goosebumps & I 100% agree wit you. This video give me flashback in hs, ahh the old dayz. i "KINDA" missed. Not to show off i feel proud after hs cuz I stand out the most being a gay male, i was nice to everyone, only guy dat did a dance team in the entire skool (Most guys do football or basket ball) & felt proud of my skin. I didn't care about the haters & be me. I was very different - nothing wrong with dat but I can't wait until i go to college tho :)
@XforeverlongingX Thats good, but they had no way of proving it in the minds of the people. No pictures from outers space. So, you had those that believed it was flat, those that believed it was round. The bible recorded it being a circle long before that.
@radoliz2 AND, if you want to bring it to the cosmos, it proves my point even further. In fact, the famous Pierre-Simon Laplace found out, after building his working model of the cosmos, that, once questioned by the emperor "where is god in this equation", Laplace answered "it all works without one". So there you go. Your bible has no non-contradictory christian features in it and science pre-dates christianity and the bible. Other civilizations already made cosmological observations as well
@radoliz2 Isaiah 11:12 implies that the earth is flat (says 4 corners). What do don't understand is that many other cultures had similar ideas about planets. All they had to do was look at the moon. This doesn't prove anything. Not one thing towards the bible's credibility. It's a work that steals from human discovery and claims it as otherworldly. Anyone who can't see this has a lot of explaining to do. Many non-christian cultures made the same observations. Doesn't make their religion correct.
Find your voice & add it to the chorus of humanity? Chorus of the Universe? Perhaps stand out has a self-aggrandizing feel to it? Maybe stand up, or stand proud in your individuality? Personally when I am speaking about life or philosophical matters I use the analogy of paths. We all have our own path but that does not mean it can't be going in the same direction as another's, or alongside, or cross. Good video, I didn't think ADD, I thought going with the flow.
@XforeverlongingX You have much more patience than I do. I agree with you on many points. I don't care what other people believe. I just don't understand where they get the arrogant & fascist point of view that they have the right to tell other people what they must do or believe. Really in the end I think it is just an excuse to cover the bigotry, a pseudo-reason for their violence.
