The Bible has stoning in the old testimate. Jesus had not come yet to teach them. The old testimate is basically just the history b4 Jesus was born. People had to make sacrafices for their sins and wrongdoings so they were punished sometimes to death in b.c it was stoning. Then Jesus was born n slaughtered for all of our sins and wrongdoings. NO NEED TO STONE PEOPLE ANYMORE! A lot of religions cling on to the teachings of the old testimate. They peice it together with their beliefs.

@1SGPARKER Granted, they weren't tried by "your" standard, but they were tried by Allah's:P It hurts me to see such things, and if I were king I would nuke the entire middle east (save Israel). But, public executions seem to be an inevitable aspect of a theocratic government/society, and until they can give up their pedophile rapist savior, things like this WILL continue:)

@CarbonWaterCalcium How can you justify this barbaric action by saying "we" used to burn witches? Nothing can be rational about gathering up untried, possibly innocent people and killing them with stones. This can sometimes take many hours. We live in a strange world. Perhaps the next life will be better.

I guess it's cool for them to stone murderers (you always leave out "that" charge). I mean, we used to burn witches, and publicly hang folks. Don't get me wrong, I hate any religion that worships a pedophile; but every country has gone through a public executions phase, and I'm sure that stoning a human is very cathartic, so maybe don't judge too quickly.
