  • 24 bit is to keep the highest quality while you work, if you started the session at 24 that is. But the bit rate has to be 16 to go on CD, or else you trunkate bits creating added noise without adding Dither or noise shaping to the dither, which in turn reduces the final quality on the cd.

  • @Cosme422 Thanks for adding your thoughts to our tip!!! That is a really good point to add if people need to burn their bounce to a CD instead of saving the highest quality version to be mastered.
