I watched this video twice, to check out the audience, to see what the other comments had to add about the audience?.... yes, in Germany and the audience was doped up with sedatives, opiates...."are they still alive and breathing", Hello is anybody home?
Stoic, impassionate....guess they were told, no 'ordered' to sit still for the camera....well, hell, Debbie still looks great, even without the bra.

During this period all the audiences on this show acted stoically. It didn't matter what band was playing. They got good responses during this show and this show launched them to stardom in Germany where Plastic Letters charted even higher than in the UK. All I can say is thank God for German TV. Otherwise we would have virtually no live footage of them.

This looks like it was performed before their SNL appearance launching them into greater popularity. Would have liked to hear their version of "Man With The Golden Gun."
Great video, thanx for posting it.

A HA! Baron Goldfinger, at last ve meet again! notice she holds the hands behind her? it was the 1980's, the Eighties, AIDies to Hades! the pansies and pussie willows were in full bloom, out of the closet and into the dark smelly cigarette filled disco they swished. brilliant but evil proctologist Heimlich von Goldsphincter hoped to convert all the children into homosexual junkie prostitute employees for his Corporate Empire clients. - james mcashan for the US Senate

This is a TV show and not a concert and the audience was probably told to sit still to keep a free view for the cameras. It is the same in the famous "Musikladen" Ramones show (Eins-zwe- drei-vier - Take it Joey)

@promiseofanewday Look at several other German audiences on You Tube, particularly from '70s-'80s. They tend to be stationary and proper.
What a bunch of cunts in the audience.
