Thermometer with PIC16F88, two LM335 sensors and KS0108 compatible dot matrix lcd. In the video I'm heating sensors with soldering iron.

  • You can buy KS0108 based LCD for example from Sparkfun.

  • DS18B20 x 2 ? You had problems with different readings from them ? about 3 or 4 degrees ? ..... Cool Thermometer, why only 0-50 ? (if it is ds18b20, or 1820) you could mesure from -50 to +125 :P

  • The goal of the project was to use cheap analog sensors (LM335). I used DS1820 in my other projects and have no problems with them. It was summer time when I made this thermometer because of that it's 0-50C, but it could be easily modified to lets say -30 - 70C.
