Stunt riders from the show, pretty cool stuff! And no, the Frisian who slipped over was NOT hurt, he came out again a few minutes later happy as larry.

  • i went to watch tht show only i was at the front in the v.i.p section nd i got to go backstage after to the horses stables :) nd btw no cameras were allowed in the show only after the show for v.i.p's nd tht friesian was such a little cutie in its stable :D

  • @capricornia08 I don't think they cared that I was taking little snippets of video, they SAW me taking it. Certainly I would have put it away if they've asked me. I think what they didn't want was flash photography which could spook the horses or professional video gear that could take footage to sell at a later date. Considering some of the commentors here appear to know the ppl in these clips, if there were an issue they would have contacted me by now ;)

  • i work in the stables and actually the black horse was injured they have 3 fresians that look alike. nice footage though. what was your fave part in the show????

  • Oh no! Poor guy. Was he alright? It seemed like the footing was very slippery that night, a couple of slips etc. My fav part.....hmmmmm.... I think the liberty work with the white horse. I think he was an Arabian or something? And I loooved the High School in hand with the big horse that first came out in harness, that was true classic dressage with a great story line. But yep, the liberty work. That was the best part for me.

  • Sonny's fresians don't look anything alike... and I doubt a little slip like that would have hurt Gheert too much... and if he was hurt, I doubt Lissy would have sent him back out... I was a principal rider with them when one of the horses was hurt (only a little), and they care VERY much for their horses... probably more so than the riders!

  • I was wondering about that, the horses are very clearly well looked after, healthy and happy, doesn't seem like their MO to pull a stunt like that. I'm glad Gheert was alright (and YAY now I know his name!) :-) I really loved the show, great display of excellent horsemanship :-)
