A little thing I came up with trying to play a groove keeping a "melodynote" ringing at the same time. Enjoy! Message me if you want tabs or have any questions!

  • Excellent showcase of talent and tone ! BTW, did you record direct and/or what amp/cab do you use ?

  • @francoprof777 Thanks! Plugged it directly into my computer, X-fi soundcard. Yup recorded "live"..a bit of syncing problems at times :)

  • Nice piece!!!

F-bass rules, .. but what colour is it? ... hard to see ...

    Great sound!

  • Thanks! It´s actually a custom laquer. Gave them total freedom to make a unique colour when building the bass :) They called it "Tiger Bobo Bass" (Bobo is my nickname :) ) It´s a sort of auburn sunburst with highlighted woodgrains.

  • Its awesoMe how you can get a slap-like tone without actually slapping. Do you play hard to get that sound?

  • Thank you! Well not really. Great thing about the Fbass is that you can get a clean tone by playing regularly, and this bit of "dirty" tone by just adding a bit more pressure.

  • Great playing and amazing ideas. Could you please send me the tabs for this solo.

  • what a tone..F Bass really have it locked down.....anyone want to swap theres for either a Sei Jazz 5 or a super Fender CS Closet classic 1970 limited edition Jazz bass?

  • Love your tone, loads of punch and gutsy. Mycket bra :)

  • it depends! surely more than a guitar... but for example my bass, which is an ibanez soundgear, weights far less than a music man for example, altho its a 5 strings one. u have to consider the kind of wood used, and the materials of mechanics, pick ups, eventually some inner batteries (active bass) and of course the iron thingy inside the neck

  • Awesome! : )

I know strange question but... how much does it (the bass) weight?

  • Thanks! :) Yeah the bass is just awesome..can´t recommend them enough!

  • that's smooth!!! nice tone from ur bass, wish mine sound like that!

  • Thank! The first 3 chords are just regular triads. Fminor (F,Ab,C) Gminor (G,Bb,D) Ab (Ab,CEb).

  • All that was awesome, Pappa :D

    You're really good !!

  • Haha he beat me to it. :) Was gonna say that it was tapping and not harmonics.

  • haha tapping sorry!

  • wut is the cord at 0.45 , it kicks ass

  • I agree, its a great piece but those weren't harmonics.

  • yes, beautiful piece!!

    at time 00.48 - 00.54 that's harmonics killer !!

    I give you 5☆ because I can't add more :D

  • First comment! Beautiful piece!!! I love it!!
