I bought one in 1979 when they first came out in the UK. I cut the seat down and taped the mirrors and headlight then went proddie racing with it. At the time they were the fastest 250 on the road. I nearly died on it the following year when a car pulled out in front of me. I was speeding of course, but who didn't in those days if you rode a 250 X7?

ez restoration to do these my m8 reg oats has got an x7 in his garage it is an original race bike with hydro flow exhausts and tuned by one of the grate tuners i forgot which one ? bigger pistons crank case lined and the work's i will have to try to make a video of it
