@amigammon this is a QRS factory recut (Q-series) of the original 1920s QRS release of this song, played by Pete Wendling. This roll was in the 2000 series, I think, which contrasts with the later versions by J. Lawrence Cook, which I think were released in the 7000, 8000, or 9000 series (I'll have to check).
As you can tell from the breaks in the verse, Pete Wendling absorbed stuff from Zez Confrey and learned it well! He's one of the endorsers pictured in Confrey's 1923 method book.

@Kiosade They weren't stupid in the twenties. The technology you see today, my young man, is the result of billions of hours of research around the world. Back then the world just hadn't clocked that much time. Also, ALL paper is manufactured in large rolls much longer than the one you see here.

Jeez, how long is this paper... and how did they produce something like that in the 20's?
The guy needs a tripod. It is hard to read the lyrics. It is a different version of AB than we have on the same label. ?? Or maybe we have the Aeolian version.

@amigammon ...I used a tripod in my later postings. I will use a tripod on my earlier postings at a later date. Thanks for viewing!
