  • What type of wood did you use for this wizard???

  • I am leaving this same comment on each part of the 5 minute wizard instructional videos. I enjoyed the videos finding each very instructional. My one suggestion is that you get the camera a lot closer to the work. We don't need to see your feet and legs. Would love to see the close up detail of the carving work

  • woodcarving illustrated eh....

  • Now thats cool. Thanks for posting.

  • You seem to be using two different types of carving gloves. What are they, please?

  • This is the first wood carving video I have ever watched and I'm utterly enchanted.

You have such a wonderful easy manner and you love of the craft really comes across.

I am actually going to try to find somewhere locally to buy the tools and have a go. Please can someone tell we what type of wood to buy and the name of the knife used?

Thank-you so much for posting, I'm now off to watch more of your videos 

  • thank you for sharing in such a nice way ....i think you did more for the magazine by actually showing how to carve one step at the time....you made me a suscriber of both the magazine and your videos.....this is exactly what i needed to start carving....thank you again...

  • Thanks so much for these! I was also looking for a place to start and your videos are awesome!

  • Thanks for these 5 minute wizard vids, my computer messed up right before I did my carving so I couldn't refer back to these but it still turned out pretty good, especially considering it was only my second carving attempt.

  • thanks for the post.. i have always been interested in learning but didn't know where to begin... i think this just might be the start i was looking for.

    thanks again and keep posting
