  • Great stuff!! What Peter's talking about confirms my own preference for 5-watt single-ended Class-A amplifiers. You don't need a 100-watt Marshall stack to play in small to medium-size bars and nightclubs. Not only are they "overkill" in terms of blowing away the audience, most of your tone is comming from the pre-amp section of the amp rather than from the power tubes. The trick is to be able to push the power tubes to the max without destroying the audiences' eardrums.

    Is there a Part 2?

  • Fantastic! Thanks for sharing this.
