I have always been disappointed with the average amount of care which goes into juggling videos, compared to those of the acrobatic or extreme sports communities.

I present to you my first ever HD juggling film project. Shot entirely with a Canon T2i, at 720p and 60fps.
Filmed during just 30 minutes on a cold December morning.
Edited using Final Cut Pro and Motion

Big respect to Brett Novak for his beautiful and inspirational skateboarding films! He is the main reason I wanted to make a video like this.

Directed, filmed and edited by Norbi Whitney
Starring Aaron DeWitt
Music: "Another Wave from You" and "New Map" by M83

  • No offense or anything but I would definitely prefer to see good juggling with less than ideal editing/camera work than not so good juggling with perfect editing/camera work.

I think that if you can combine them and make a truly good piece of art then go for it, but just making juggling artistic without the requisite skill makes me yawn.

  • @Jugglingbuffoon Thanks for your comments. I can assume you are a big numbers siteswaps juggler and don't care about the beauty of 3 clubs?

  • @TNorbiSBW You are close. I am a technical juggler i.e. I try to tricks that are difficult, not make them look good. I also like tricks that are interesting but that is a different matter. There are 3 club videos that can interest me. For example, I love andReas423ele's videos. But I love them because the tricks are interesting and difficult.

By the way, there is no need to be condescending.

  • @Jugglingbuffoon I understand, and I do thank you for your comments. My goal is indeed to make interesting to watch juggling videos. Which will, in the future, include harder tricks. For this video we were limited to about 30 minutes of filming, with no warm-up, and it was -6C outside. So kind of limiting.

Also sorry for my tone, but your YouTube profile does not help you out...no videos since 2007 and saying you juggle 37 rings = troll in my mind.

    Thanks for your time.

  • Good video, what kind of clubs are those?

  • @JugglingIsNotACrime They are "Delphins" by Henrys. Thanks for the kind words.

  • Great video! I also wish more care would go into making juggling videos. You may have inspired me to take a new direction with my next video...

  • before to move myself to Montreal i was really scared about the snow, now i think can be a really nice experience, i love this video, thanks!

  • @TNorbiSBW I have deleted all of my videos because I am interested in preserving the last vestiges of my privacy. I put that I can juggle 37 rings because all of the competition about who can juggle more. I purposely chose a ridiculous number. to show my contempt for that.

Looking forward to your next video.

  • beautiful juggling and editing

  • I always appreciate well-shot juggling. I really liked the shadow titles on the snow and the raspberries in the foreground.
