  • the table needs more of an angle and the ore should not be placed in the pond.... lil more drainage so the roots can breathe is going to promote better growth... :)

  • @thelip1012 ridicules, the dissolved O2 levels are fine, in fact over 150 times the required amount. The roots don't need to be exposed to the Air at all, ever.

the system is a continuous flow shallow water culture. What you are referring to is, an ebb and flow or a flood and drain system.

In this style of system, the root zone is underwater 24/7 thanks for the lip, lip.

  • that mystery cucumber plant looks like it might be a horned melon plant which is a member of the cucumber family or it could be a yellow cucumber. just my guess.

  • Yes, you are right, Chinese yellow cucumber from BakerCreek.

  • Jungleponics ;)

Chelated Iron from your local nursery should rectify the yellow/orange discolouration.

  • Is not breadfruit, breadfruit is a really big tree.

The orange coloration it could lack of iron.

  • tomatoes usually need a support. Hydroponics is fine, but u should put a stick (stake) to allow the tomato plant to grow on it.

  • maybe the melons just dont grow well nr the other plants .

this is a great idea - was watching a vid with a village in china who have this ... amazing.

-though have to ask what happens in winter for the fish ...frosts an all do you just heat the water ..? must costs a fortune ?

  • its old Cucumber they grow yellow and big if you dont harvested then and on tomatoes is a plague

  • the table should have more angle ... to have more drainage !

  • @sugarpuddin88 Discolored leaves could also be spider mites.
