Everyone is commenting about this song having meaning, and whether it has a different meaning for everyone or whatever.
For me, I listened to this song a lot when I would think about what would happen if I came out to my friends, and it kind of helped me through it.
Never doubt the power of a song. A good song, mind you. Not most of this Top 40 nonsense. :p

I have talked to Adam personally and I told him I walked down the isle to the breakdown of the song and he laughed and said thats awesome but the song is about divorce. lol which i knew ...but the breakdown is so awesome I had to anyways.

Now now children. Let's not play the "comparing apples and oranges" game. We all know that TBS is incomparable to.. well any other style of music nowadays. You can't say "oh hey, this apple tastes more like a fruit than that orange does." It's all music guys, lets just enjoy it for what it is. TBS is incredible IMHO, you can disagree, but hey, I'm not dissin' your tunes. At the very least appreciate the lyrics for what they are... Beautiful and heart-rending...
