I had a very similar moment. I too read an article in a newspaper about mature students going to university containing information on various Univerities and courses. it was just when I.T was in its infancy and decided to apply and set me on a whole new course in life. I moved to Leicester and had such amazing experiences that I cannot (and don't want to)imagine how things would have turned out if I hadn't acted on that article.
