It'd be hard to pick a favorite McEntire song, but if forced, I think I'd have to go with this one. That third verse is just agonizing. And the way she sings "aching" in the final chorus...
I know - it would be so hard to pick a favorite Reba song, but if I absolutely HAD to I'd probably pick this. Watch just about any youtube vid of Reba singing this (TV performances, clips from Reba concerts) and it always sounds beautiful and emotional - especially that last "aching". And she recorded this in 1994 (15 years ago). It's heartbreaking every time I hear her sing it.
