A short film spoof of the high speed verbal gymnastics and plot blind alleys of American film noir and 1940s detective fiction. Writer: Tom Knight Director: Colin Webb

  • surprisingly good. do you have plans to make another?

  • Hello,

Not as yet. Wrote a companion script based on forties 'screwball comedies' but have yet to get a producer interested. Do look at my other film 'Caitlin'.Many thanks for your comment.

  • Decent script delivered subpar by a contrived performance. They care too much, and smoke too little. There's not enough "been there done that" cynicism here. You get a sense their silver screen predecessors could survive the mean streets, while these guys would have trouble in Mayberry.

  • Hello, Thanks for the obsevations. Indeed what is missing are those true gritty film noir edges - but this is intended to be a spoof. The humour is within the fast plot dialogue which actually leads nowhere.
