Sorry, but I don't agree with you. Anneke and her own personality was the key of Gathering's success throughout the years, so I think she has the right to perform some of the old songs. BTW it is a common thing with many musicians to play some songs from their earlier projects.

This is the real Anneke, Agua de Annique lacks the musicians from The Gathering with their personality and virtuosity and The Gathering lacks Anneke with her amazing voice and contribution.

LOL--I was being facetious, my serious friend. I was lucky enough to be at one of the Gathering's very last shows with Anneke; her voice and charisma were indeed integral to what made the band what it was.

she was part of this band for so many years and she helped in the writing process so it's not that weird that she covers ONE song from the gathering...think about Tarja Turunen who does covers from Nightwish though she had nothing to do with the song writing
