WEMF 2008 - Jimni Cricket Part 1 of 6

My friend and I made it to the Final WEMF 2008 in Madawaska, Ontario, Canada (World Electronic Music Festival). It was amazing! I had a lot of fun, and have my best friend to thank for telling me about it and encouraging me to go. I had brought my brand new video camera with me and filmed a little bit of the 3-day music festival, including some of our friends and one of the DJs. I wish I had brought more batteries or a better charger to keep on filming, but I killed the batteries on the first day - and this was out in a huge field in the middle of nowhere, kind of like a techno Woodstock, so there weren't any outlets nearby to go recharge (and the recharger I bought for the car didn't work). Anyway, 2 years later I finally figured out how to edit my JVC camera's proprietary files and found the time to do it. This is one of 6 parts of a set performed by Jimni Cricket on the Goodfellaz Hardsounds Stage from 11pm to midnight, Friday, July 18th. Enjoy!

Note: I apologize for where the clips are edited, but it was the best I could do when restricted to 10 minute clips for a one-hour non-stop music set. Hopefully you'll find that where I cut the clips aren't too jarring. And special thanks to Jimni Cricket for a great performance and permission to share these videos with the world!
