Just messing around with my handmade fukiya. The darts just so you know, are called Fukibari.

  • it seems that one dart is retarded. nice video, cool blowgun. i made one out of pvc pipe covered in electrical tape for stealth. my darts are made from crap i found lying around, pretty much everything from cotton pads and toothpicks to yarn and fork tines.

  • @666monsterman Lmao yeah, some of the darts started to lose the aerodynamic make, and started doing weird stuff lol.

  • what was that, about 15 feet or so?

  • 20 to 15. Its not accurate after that. The darts are also old, and bent, so their flight isn't very good.

  • think i'ma get one of the cold steel blowguns eventually. they have some cool darts is why and they ain't so pricey.

  • I'd make one. It costs next to nothing. I bought a long dried out bamboo shoot, and cut it. THen you make the darts out of paper and metal slivers and there you go. You can use the rest of the bamboo like I did to make a practice Rokushaku-bo. Plus its more authentic.

  • AAAHHH!!! at 0:26 you hit the cameraman in the nuts!!! AAAHHH!!!

  • my dad made one of these meatal tube naile and paper and tape funnel

  • thats pretty neat did you have to put tape on the dart to make it fly better??

  • I have been making bamboo blowpipes for sometime now and finally managed to perfect the design. There is not much you can do about the shaft -bamboo is good and like you said looks authentic and I use it too. As for the darts, after much trail and error the best ones are made from 6in cotton tipped applicators. use a paper cone in the back for the fletch. keep the cotton bud in the back for support. Use sewing needles for the tip. Rule of thumb- accuracy is typically 30 times shaft length. ^_^

  • Always cool to see some hoemmade stuff work as well as this, only downside is that this blowgun probably has a very short range. But it's just perfect to carry around and hide it somewhere between your clothes.

  • I think I'll cut a piece of cain down by the creek tomorrow. Any suggestions on how to hollow it?

  • Cool Stuff!

  • thanks...
