  • wow this took me back... i was working in the stores at Lec Refridgeration and all 10 of us staff were listening to this on the radio... ha ha... those were the days.. and i had Doctor Devious... i was ecstatic, it was an agonising wait for the forecast because i had done a forecast with Silver Wisp... beaten by a gnats nostril... i was a bit disappointed

  • era la prima volta che vedevo il derby....e ha vinto un cavallo Italiano...!!!

  • legendary horse, seein as my very 2st big winner 33/1 ante post

  • Peter Chapple Hyam, trainer of the 1992 Derby winner also trained Authorized to win this Epsom classic fifteen years later

  • Another excellent post, he won that race well, contrary to popular belief, this was a good derby.

St jovite winning the irish derby & king george muhtarram the following years irish champion stakes, and Silver wisp eventually came right back to form for David Nicholson in the spring of 94, when beating Apple Tree who won the coronation cup next time. great footage just to see those 2 names there in the betting. Rodrigo de Triano and Dr Devious.

    I loved them both
